William Robert (Billy) Marshall


William Robert (Billy) Marshall passed away on July 30, 2021. Billy was born on October 25, 1988, at St Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Billy is survived by his parents, William and Pamela Marshall; a sister, Jennifer Elizabeth Tache; a brother-in-law, Blaine Tache and a nephew, Samual GavinTache and a niece, Meghan Ashleigh Tache. He was proceeded in death by both his maternal grandparents – Robert and Thelma LaJoie and his paternal grandparents – William and Patricia Marshall. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Billy was an incredible person who was always willing to help anyone who needed it, no questions asked. His only two questions were Where and When do you need me?  Billy was very protective of his family and friends. He also put a lot of effort into his physical and spiritual appearance by working out in a home gym, practicing both yoga and meditation, and reading his Bible first thing every morning.

He was a member of St Joseph Church, Shawnee, KS. And was working on building his faith and strengthening his relationship with God. He attended St Joseph Grade School, Hocker Middle School, and Shawnee Mission North. Billy obtained his GED from SM North at the age of 16. He worked for four years at Target, Shawnee, KS.


Funeral services will be Saturday, August 7, 2021, at St Joseph Church, 11311 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS.  Visitation will begin at 9:30 am, with Mass at 10:30 AM. Lunch will be provided after.

      Thanks Kacey.

      It has been a long time coming. It was a heroin overdose/suicide. He had so many demons and just got tired of fighting with all of them. But thanks. Hope you are doing good.
