Bill and Kathleen were such good neighbors to us on Shunga Dr. They made our young family welcome. They were very supportive of us when we had losses in our family. When we moved to Paxico, Bill came out to help us celebrate Chuck’s 50th birthday. We are very thankful to have know Bill and we will keep your family in our prayers.

My mother, Gertrude Stephens, worked many years for Bill through the time of Howells and Associates, Howells, Hale, and Wohlberg, and finally W. R. Hale.
I was in elementary school when my mother went back to work and after a visit to her office one day, I announced that I wanted to be an Architectural Engineer like Bill Hale.
I graduated with a BS in Architectural Engineering from KU (not Bill’s K State), but it worked out just fine.
I am thankful for Bill’s influence both career wise and being a good kind person in general.

My mother, Gertrude Stephens, worked for Bill many years through the days of Howells and Associates, Howells, Hale, @ Wohlberg and finally, W.R. Hale. I was in elementary school when my mother went back to work and after visiting her office one day, I announced that I wanted to be an “Architectural Engineer” like Bill Hale. I graduated with a BS in Architectural Engineering in 1969. Although it was from KU, not K State, it still worked out ok. I am thankful for Bill’s influence career wise and on being a good kind person in general.
