William H. Killian

Bill Killian, 93, of Leawood, Kansas, passed away on September 11, 2012. He was born in Pasadena, California, on October 10, 1918.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Phillipa Louise Killian; three sons Jim (Marsha) Killian of Overland Park, John (Aurea) Killian of Puyallup, Washington, and Bill (Sheila) Killian of Waterford, California; 14 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren.

Bill was a sound engineer with Warner Brothers and retired in 1980. He was a member of IBEW for 70+ years and a member of IATSE. He lived a strong faith and a gentle life.

    That is my Dad alright. I would add that he never said a bad word about another person and I don’t think he ever uttered a curse or swore even once. He was an incredibly spiritual man, who lived his faith each and every day of his long and blessed life. I will miss him every day of mine. He was a good man and a good Dad. I loved him.

    I love the happy picture of Bill. That is the way I always remember him. What a happy spirit and a gentle soul he was. I am glad our paths have crossed during this life.
