I knew Dr. Herrero when he served as an E.D. physician at Faith Hospital West in a St. Louis Suburb. He was awaiting his certification as an MD in US, after receiving his medical training abroad. He was very compassionate, very knowledgeable and a soft-spoken doctor that inspired confidence in those he spoke to. I had heard him speak of his work at the Cochran VA Hospital and one could tell it was a source of pride to him. I’m sure his family will miss him terribly. A gentle soul has left us.
