Troy Eugene Meadows

 September 29th, 1962 to March 12th, 2018

Troy was a sweet, loving, and kind man who enjoyed watching his KC Chiefs, Royals, and KU Basketball teams play.  His other passions were fishing sometimes having several poles in at one time, especially out at the cabin at Gardner lake, while sitting on the dock. He was known to enjoy a game of pool, a good drink, and cigar.  He always enjoyed playing with all his nieces and nephews, eating all the play dough food they created for him or playing checkers. He always had a big smile and hug for his family who he loved very much.  Troy grew up in Olathe and attended Olathe High school.

He worked at the Olathe Office Supply for his Dad Jerry Meadows.  This is where is first learned about printing. Troy worked for several other printing companies as a printer through the years.  He also worked for his brothers Jeff and Terry Meadows as a trim carpenter.

He struggled and fought a long battle with Cancer. Ultimately his body grew tired and it was time to go home and join the rest of his family.

He is proceeded in death by his Brother Jeff,  Mother Sandra LaVern,  Father Jerry Dean Meadows, Grandparents Paul and Alma Meadows and Warren and Vivian Dickey.  He is survived by his Brother Terry and wife Jennifer Meadows, His sons Kyle and Parker, His Cousins Brent and Stephanie Meadows, Michelle Wilson, Mark and Shelly Bundy, Scott Bundy, Debbie Gallo Sandoval, Dawn Gallo, Tina Taber, and Tracy and Jeff Davis.  His Nephews and Nieces Tyler, Cody, Marissa, Heather, Rachel, Emily, Aaron, and Mariah Meadows. He even had many great nephews and nieces. Aunts Linda and Caroline Dunn and Uncle Carl and wife Anne Meadows

We would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to the Kansas City Hospice House for their care of Troy and his family.

The service will be at First Christian Church in Olathe at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday March 18th, 2018 Located at 200 East Loula Olathe, Kansas 66061
