George Elmer Minnis, 81, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away September 9, 2013 at the Kansas City Hospice House. He was born February 28, 1932 in Henderson, Kentucky.  He served in the National Guard and worked as a Land Surveyor. George is survived by his wife, Jacqueline, three children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
