Susan Louise Todd (Wesche)

Susan Louise Todd (Wesche), “Sue” as she was known by family and friends, age 64, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was a graduate of the University of Kansas, receiving her BS in Microbiology in 1980, as well as a master’s degree in special education in 1997. Sue recently retired in 2020 after teaching for nearly 30 years, most recently serving as Special Education Coordinator at Turner High School. Sue had many talents including baking and sewing, and enjoyed music, especially attending live concerts across the United States with her husband. She most loved her roles as wife, mother, and “Grams”. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard C. and Judith N. Wesche. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Timothy D. Todd; three daughters, Rebecca T. Forbis and her husband, Katherine L. Todd, and Sara L. Way and her husband; 4 grandchildren, Tayden, Stella, Isaac, and Clara; 2 brothers, Jeffery Wesche and David Wesche and their wives; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored. The family would also like to express sincerest thanks and gratitude for the amazing care and support offered by Kindred Hospice.
Service
A celebration of life will be held later in the spring once restrictions related to COVID-19 have been reduced.
Memorial Contributions
In lieu of flowers, friends and family may make donations to the University of Kansas Cancer Center or Kindred Hospice.
