Dear Pat and Rachel, So sorry we lost touch. Susan and I grew up across the street from one another in Quindaro Homes and then were best friends for many years from the time our sons Mike Champion and Pat Hopewell were born. Your mom baby sat My Michael. Did you know that Michael was murdered in 1992 by a carjacker in San Diego?

So sorry we drifted apart. Hope you two have a happ life and are still connected to your dad Jim.

Dear Rachel, I just heard today about Sue’s passing and wish to express my sincerest condolences. I worked every weekend with your mother at Answer Pro, Ltd. during the late 80’s and early 90’s and we became close friends. She was a charming, intelligent, and very caring woman. She left a lasting impression on me and I’ll never forget her. Take care and God Bless. Sincerely, Steve Phipps.

Dear Rachel & Patrick, Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your mother, Susan. I worked with Susan at the Greyhound Bus Lines, 12 & Holmes, back in the early to mid 1970’s. The exact years escape me now. I thought Susan was such a delightful human being. She was pretty, charming, intelligent, thoughtful, good-worker, caring and loving mother. I was always amazed at her spot-on insight to various situations or problems. We missed her so much after she left Greyhound. Again you have my deepest sympathy. Sincerely, Faye I. Vadasz
