Stephanie “Stevie” Ann Deere


Stephanie Ann Deere, Edwardsville, Kansas passed away December 8, 2010 at Providence Medical Center. She was born October 2, 1951 in Leavenworth, Kansas, the daughter of the late Steve and Patsy Erhart-Deere. She was the oldest of four siblings. She graduated from Lansing High School in 1971 and lived in Lawrence, Independence and Sabetha, Kansas.

Stephanie enjoyed all music, popular culture, and animals. She was involved in sheltered workshop activities and the Special Olympics. She was a very hard worker who held various jobs throughout her life and was always willing to help others. Her great sense of humor and unconditional love for her family and friends were unmatched. Stephanie signed her letters and cards “Peace and Love” and it is in that spirit that she will be remembered.

Stephanie is survived by her brother Kyle and Debbie Deere, Lansing, Kansas; brother Klint and Karis Deere, Pampa, Texas; sister Sandra Deere, Leavenworth, Kansas; Aunt Claudia and Uncle Dave Marshall, Boise, Idaho; several nieces and nephews, and one great niece.

No services are planned. Stephanie will be interred with her parents at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
