Sheran Ann Casey (Kay), August 2, 1947 – December 22, 2020.
Sheran was born in Gorman, Texas, to William and Joy Kay on August 2nd, 1947. She spent her childhood years between Kansas, Texas, and Louisiana and attended college at McNeese State in Lake Charles, Louisiana, before relocating to Texas, and eventually, Kansas. Sheran woke up every morning with a smile on her face and showed the world all the love in her heart. She was the definition of love and empathy, and her legacy lives on with; her children (Sean, Stacie, Stephen), sister; Pam Steen (Don), niece and nephew; Jennifer Hall (Joey), David Steen (Judy), and her beloved grandchildren; (Benton, Max, Zane, Paige) as she was their fiercest champion. She is missed tremendously and the mark she left on the world is noticeable to all who met her. Sheran also leaves behind her fiancé and best friend, Joe Smith. Sheran is preceded in death by her parents.
The family of Sheran would like to thank the nurses and doctors at the University of Kansas Medical Center and the Kansas City Hospice House.
