Sharon Ann Rosenthal, 70, passed away November 14, 2020, at home after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born May 25, 1950, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of David D. Sr. and Hattie L. Davenport Sweet. Sharon graduated from Louisburg High School, Class of 1968.

She married the love of her life, Garry Paul Rosenthal, on October 10, 1986. Sharon is survived by her husband of 34 years, Garry Rosenthal of the home, her son, William Jason Harper Jr. of Kansas City, MO, her Granddaughter, Alicen Ann Harper of Gardner, KS, and sister, Brenda Gorsage of Freeman, MO. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, David Sweet Jr. of Cameron, MO, two sisters; Vicky Donovan of Paola, KS, and Darlene Greenwood of Louisburg, KS.

Sharon enjoyed the simple things in life, like ballgames, her favorite tv shows, sitting on the deck enjoying the view of the lake, and enjoying watching the hummingbirds at her sisters’. She loved the time she spent with her family and was always there for everyone, always willing to lend a helping hand, offer support and advice. Most importantly, she loved and adored her granddaughter.

    My deepest condolences go out to Sharon’s family. I will hold tight to the memories I have of her, and pray for strength for her family in the coming days.
