Sean Steven Jones

Jones, Sean
Sean Steven Jones, age 42, of Kansas City Missouri passed away Friday afternoon on November 12, 2021 in his home. He was born in Bitburg, Germany on November 20, 1978. Sean was a graduate of Fort Dorchester High School in 1995. He then went on to attend the University of Florida for 1 year. He was a talented Plaster Mason in Kansas City for the past 20 years. He was a devout Christian who attended Graceway Church located in Raytown, Missouri. He was also a die hard and devoted Kansas City Chiefs fan.
Sean is survived by his wife Autumn, his daughter Alexa N. Jones, his step children; Lauren, Preston, and Hayden, his mother Barbara Langston (Robert) of Summerville, SC, his father Vernon S. Jones of Melbourne, FL, brothers Mark Langston of Charleston, SC and Tony Langston of San Antonio, TX., and sister Stephanie Jones of Naples, FL. Several aunts and uncles and cousins whom he cherished in addition to friends around the world. He was a very kind, generous, giving and loving soul. Anyone who knew him knew he had a big heart. He could make you laugh even when you were down. He saw the best in everyone and gave his best to everyone. Sean loved fiercely and deeply and we take great comfort in knowing that he is now at peace surrounded by light and is now with his lord and savior.

Sean, you were my big brother. I’ve always looked up to you. You taught me so much man. We would shoot each other with BB guns and would wrestle each other work out together. We did what brothers would do. You’ve always been there for my family and we have and will always be there for yours. You were a good man. You will be missed dearly. Condolences to his wife, his loving parents and his beautiful daughter that cherished him. Love you brother.

My family had to privilege to meet Sean years ago. Growing up as military brats, it was always hard to make new friends each time we moved. Only those who grew up like this understand this all to well. Not sure if it was just dumb luck or fate but we moved next the Langstons during my dad’s last station. It goes without saying that Sean and his brother Tony made me and my brother feel welcomed right from the start. The fun we had and the trouble we got in to will always be some of the fondest memories I have. Thank you Sean for being a good friend back then. On behalf of the Barrios family we send our deepest heart-felt condolences to your family for their loss. And if you happen to see Joe & pops up there give them my love .

    Somewhere in my dreams tonight
    I’ll see you standing there
You look at me with a smile
    Life isn’t always Fair

You say you were chosen for his garden
    His preciously hand-picked bouquet
God really needed me that’s why I couldn’t stay

It said to me that angels
    Are sent from above
    I’ve always had my angel
My brother whose heart was filled with love

Wherever the oceans meet the sky
There will be memories of you and I
When I look up at the sky so blue
All I see are visions of you
While there’s a heart in me you’ll be a part of me
I Will Forever Love You Encyclopedia Jones Lol

Sean was like a big brother to me starting when my dad got stationed at a new base when I was a freshman. I was painfully shy and it was alway hard starting over every two years. His family lived across the street from us. He was about 5 years older than me therefore giving him big brother status ( I only had a little brother). He became my first friend (along with his brother). I’d go over and annoy them while they lifted weights in the garage. Always an ear to listen to my high school woahs and drama to chasing off crazy boys lol. He would still check in with me to see how I was doing over the years. I’ll always remember him in his white muscle tanks!! He was so loved and will be missed so much!!
