Condolences to Sallie’s family. I remember fun times and hard work on political issues in the ’80s and early ’90s, and her bright personality and wisdom. Glad that Fran and Debbie gave me the chance to know her.

Aunt Sallie looks so lovely and happy in this photo. Her bright spirit and loving kindness and strength were beyond compare. She was always there for our family when we needed help and always ready for an adventure. We had many a spirited discussion about politics and current events and we shared a love of the natural world. Sallie was a person of diverse talents and passions. She lived an honorable and joyous life. She will be missed, but I know she will always be with us. All my Love, Barbara, niece.
