Robin Kay Stevens

Robin Stevens

July 8, 1960 – January 24, 2012     51 years young

We as a family truly believe that Heaven received a beautiful angel today. Robin touched so many lives along the way on her journey here on earth. She had a very fond love of her St. Louis Cardinals and the Food Channel which we dearly loved watching together. The most important and strongest love she had was for her children, Brittany, Brandon and Bryce, whom she would do anything in the world for. Robin leaves behind a vast number of family and friends who will truly miss her. She will be greeted by many family members already enjoying the eternal life. She leaves behind her loving husband of almost 27 years, Mark, her three beautiful children, Brittany, 23, Brandon-20, and Bryce-13 and future son-in-law, Brian. Robin is also survived by her loving and wonderful parents, Earl and Mary Peter, her sister Sheri and brother-in-law Tom and their daughter Sarah, her sister and brother-in-law Kim and Randy and their sons Josh and Logan and daughter Kaleigh, and her brother Brett and his sons Colin and Caleb and daughter Kelcie. Robin is also survived by her father-in-law Glen Stevens and wife Mildred and her brother-in-law and wife Scott and Sheryl and their son Andrew and daughter Amanda. Robin also has a vast number of other family members who will also miss her.

We love you so much and will wait patiently for our journey home so we can once again be with you. Love you lots honey – your husband, Mark.

Robin was such a blessing in our lives…a sister, a friend, a confidant, a true believer in God and all his angels. My sister never met a stranger only friends and that is the way she will forever be remembered. My heart aches and will for awhile but knowing that you are pain free is setting me free to go on loving you and praying for you to be able to watch over all of us. Soar high and enjoy those wings because I know you wear them proudly. I (we) miss you and will forever love you!!

It was always a highlight when we got to see Robin and Mark & the kids for a Christmas get-together. I have so many fond memories! And, though it’s been a few years since we were all together, just recently Robin and I reconnected on Facebook. She always had a sweet word of encouragement to give. I really miss hearing from her. We love you guys & your whole family is in our prayers. I know that even with the reassurance that you will see her again someday, your grief & loneliness now is very real & very strong. I pray that God wraps His arms around you all & comforts you with sweet memories, the love of family, & the enduring hope of eternity!

Although it has been a long time since i have seen Robin, I will Never forget the summers we shared as children,
playing keep away from Brett,Fishing with her Dear Grandfather Pete,Snapping green beans on the carport with her Dear Grandmother Erna, riding bikes “around the world” raiding my Dear Grandmother’s strawberry patch,
Reading Teen Beat Magazines, drooling over them guys like Donnie Osmond and David Cassidy, we were gunna marry them…hehe….aww Thank You God for the chance to know Robin. Earl,Mary…I Love you both and i am praying for your broken hearts, I know that Death leaves a Heartache NoOne can heal…But Love leaves a Memory NoOne can steal….
Hang in there and know i am here if you need me.

Robin was one of my best friends in high school and I will miss her dearly. Such a happy, loving, kind soul and a joy to be around. She made facebook extra fun and I’m so glad that we got back in touch before she departed this world. I can picture her up in Heaven tapping our friend Weezer (Louise Paz who passed last year from cancer) on the shoulder and saying hi and Weezer with a shocked look on her face asking Robin what she’s doing there so soon! That thought makes me smile. Heaven now has another very special angel and I know when my time comes, they’ll both be there to greet me. RIP Robin and Weezer. I love you both very much. To all of Robin’s family, you are in my prayers and God Bless you all.
