Bob Slonka, 76, Overland Park, KS, passed away January 2, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Jackie; children, Audrey, Bob, Kurt and Kim and their spouses, 5 grandchildren  and 2 brothers. Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Queen of the Holy Rosary, 7023 W. 71st St., Overland Park, KS.

    Probably to late to tell you how sorry we were to hear the news about Bob. We would talk with him at the Community Center almost every day. Jan. and Feb. of this year we did not go to the Sly Powell because of some issues at home. So we were stunned to hear the news.
    Bob was a GREAT warm funny guy and we will miss him !!

    I am very sorry to hear about Bob’s passing he was one of my very best friends when we both worked at Armco steel and we square dance together a few times . Jacky and siblings are my thoughts

    Had many laughs with Bob at our GEEZER meetings at the Powell center. I will really miss his friendly face.
