Robert Douglas “Doug” Walker

Robert Douglas “Doug” Walker, 43, of Basehor, Kansas, beloved father, grandfather, brother and son, passed away December 17, 2011. A celebration of his life will be held from 6:30-8:30 pm, Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Westside Family Church, 8500 Woodsonia Drive, Lenexa, KS.
Doug was born February 28, 1968 in Kansas City, Kansas. He was a graduate of Washington High School and for the past 12 years he worked in the printing industry. He enjoyed the outdoors, Nascar, KC Chiefs and KU basketball. Doug was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Leon Scott, his mother, Sandra Small and stepfather, William “Bill” Small. He is survived by daughters Saydi and Kylie Walker, grandsons Noah Jones and Brandon Hall, Jr., his father, Ernest Walker, Jr., his maternal grandmother Jean Scott, sisters Tonya Rahija and Crystal Vervaecke, brother, David Walker and wife Jamie, nieces Mallory and Brittany Rahija, Olivia Vervaecke, and Ava Walker, nephews Austin and Alec Walker and numerous extended family and friends. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
