Rick Stendebach, 55, passed away unexpectedly on January 5, 215 at his home in Olathe.  He graduated from Ruskin High School in 1977 and Longview Community College. Rick was a business owner in Olathe. He owned Rick’s Carpet for many years and recently KC Installation.

Rick is survived by his loving daughter, Danielle, his parents, Horst and Marianne, brother and sister-in-law Randy and Marie, niece Maranda, nephew Steven and extended family.

Rick was loved by all and known for his easy going disposition. Private family services are planned.

    Rick was a good friend and business associate for many years. He will be truly missed by us. Our condolences to his family members as I am sure they are truly heartbroken. May God help you all through this trying time in your lives.

    I can’t imagine the shock you feel over Rick’s passing. I remember him as a child when Bernie & I lived in Kansas City. I can only imagine the sadness you feel and the hole it will make in all of your lives. I know you will have lots of memories…but it’s not the same as having him.

    I grew up across the street from Rick. What a heart breaking .loss. I have so many good memories of him. I know Rick is in heaven. His entire family have my love and sympathies. God bless you all.

    I am shocked. Rick installed carpet in our son’s house just a year ago. I am so glad to have had that meeting as we caught up on where old friends and acquaintances are.

    Rick did a lot of work for both me and my clients. I found that he was a genuinely nice man and a ggod friend. He will be sorely missed. My sincere sympathies for your loss.

    We were so blessed to see Rick when we were in KC a couple of years ago. His care free attitude, humor, and caring for everyone in his life will truly be missed. May he rest in peace and God bless all of you.
