Willa "Billie" Harrington, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2024, at the age of 98. Born in 1925 in Oakland, California and then raised in the picturesque Puget Sound region of Washington State, Billie lived a life rich with love, passion, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Billie was the beloved wife of George Harrington, who preceded her in death in 1998. Their enduring love story spanned many decades and left a legacy of warmth and kindness that continues to inspire all who knew them. After George's passing, Billie moved to Kansas City, where she embraced new adventures and continued to touch lives with her remarkable spirit.

An avid collector, Billie found joy in the intricate beauty of American Brilliant Cut Glass, a hobby that eventually led her to a fascination with paperweight collecting. Her home was a testament to her refined taste and dedication to preserving exquisite craftsmanship.

Billie is lovingly remembered by her four children: Michael, Paul, Cindy, and Kathi. Her legacy also includes numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her love of family and passion for life.

A private memorial service will be held to celebrate Billie's life and the profound impact she had on those around her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of choice in her honor.
