Roger Paul Yardley

November 16th, 1950- April 1st, 2025

Roger Paul Yardley, 74, of Eudora, KS, departed this life on April 1st, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Roger was born in Lincoln, Nebraska to the late Paul Lawerance Yardley and Dorthy Ann Yardley (Hubl) on November 16, 1950.  In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his big brother Gary Yardley and nephews Patrick and Ryan Anderson.

Roger spent his life installing garage doors.  He started his career with Overhead Door Company in the 1970's and retired from D & R Door Company, a company he co-owned with his son Dennis Sebol.

Roger loved to cook, both in the kitchen and on the grill.  You could always count on plenty of food and great times at "Uncle Rog's" house.

When he wasn't working or cooking, he enjoyed going to the casinos with his wife Linda and restoring old cars.  He loved to spend hours in the garage working on his projects.

Roger is survived by his wife of 35 years Linda Yardley: his children, Christy Collins, Angie Peaslee (Bob), Ronnie Armes, Shawna Kirk, Dennis Sebol (Darla) and Duane Sebol (Christina); his sisters, Pam Hamil (Mel), Vickie Griffith (Phil) and Patty Anderson (Bill); grandchildren, Stephanie, Christopher, Corey, Connor, Carley, Tyler, Asura, Montana, Joshua, Lexus, Paige ,Lacey Alyssa, Dylan and Trevor, twelve great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews that he loved to spend time with.

The family will host an Open House in celebration of Roger's life on April 19th, 2025, from 10am to 1pm at the Eudora Recreation center; 1630 Elm St. Eudora KS. 66025
