Robert Dewaine "Bob" Carter, born February 28, 1959, in Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away on September 12, 2024, in Blue Springs, Missouri, at the age of 65. Bob left this world due to complications from open heart surgery.

Bob dedicated much of his life to his work, spending 21 years in the banking industry before transitioning to a career as a truck driver for 16 years. He retired in 2022, having earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends along the way.

Outside of his professional life, Bob had a passion for spending time with his grandchildren, Christmas decorating, genealogy, and gardening. These interests brought joy and fulfillment to him and those around him, especially during the holiday seasons and family gatherings.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Carter; his mother, Beverly Carter; and his brother, Bill Carter. His memory will live on in the hearts of his surviving family: his devoted husband of 33 years, Kevin Kegler; his son, David Carter; his sister, Linda Harkness; and his beloved grandchildren, Annastacia and Jonathan.

Bob's legacy is one of love, dedication, and cherished memories. May he rest in peace.
