Richelle Lynn Vaught (Powell), 56, of Grandview, MO, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO, following a yearlong battle with Pancreatic Cancer. No services will be held, per her request.

Richelle was born on January 27, 1968, in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from The Plaza Academy, Kansas City, MO, and attended college at FIT in New York, NY, and Park University, in Parkville, MO, to obtain a Bachelor Of Science In Design Degree. Richelle was a Designer in the Kansas City area for 15 years, and was a member of the American Society Of Interior Designers & the National Trust For Historic Preservation. She contributed to the Junior Women's Symphony Alliance Designers' Showhouse, in Kansas City, for five years. Richelle enjoyed Design, Antiquing, Thrifting, Traveling, Boating and was a Patron of the Arts.

Richelle was preceded in death, by her parents, Gloria Rose Powell(Franano) & Carl Wesley Powell, her Grandparents, Rose Franano, Tom Franano, Thelma & Jack Shreve, and her Great Aunts, Carmella Ancona and Angela Fritts. She is survived by, her Son, Alexander Nicolai (Nico) Vaught, her Granddaughter, Violette Dee Brummett, her Favorite Aunt, Sandra Franano (Ralph), Cousins, Renee & Justin, and Rosemary Anderson, her Aunts, Donna Couch & Jackie Sharman, along with extended family, and many caring friends who gave her love and support, as well as, Ascend Hospice.
