Patrice "Lola Loquacious" Mendoza, age 49, of Overland Park, Kansas, left this world unexpectedly on Saturday, March 8th, 2025. She was born on March 4th, 1976, in Kansas City, Missouri, and was preceded in death by her mother, Sonya Pearson, and beloved husband, Gabriel "Babe" Mendoza.

Patrice is survived by two children, Cruz Mendoza and Landon Mendoza; her wife, Nikki Marshall; bonus child Gee Marshall-Mendoza; her grandmother, Mary Woods; her father, Donald Woods; one brother, Dione Woods, and two sisters, Veronica Woods and Carly Woods; godsister Andrea Brown; and godsons Prince and Zeek.

A small memorial service for family and close friends will be held on Thursday, April 10th, at 5:00 pm, in Prairie Village, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, gift cards for groceries would be greatly appreciated.
