Pamela
Murphy
Oct 20, 1954 — Feb 19, 2024
Pamela Joan Murphy, affectionately known as Pam, embarked on her final adventure on February 19, 2024, in Eudora, Kansas. Born on October 20, 1954, in Lawrence, KS, she dove into life headfirst and never looked back. Pam was a devoted, loving, kind, generous, motivated, hard-working person who was greatly loved and is already deeply missed.
Pam was an entrepreneur at heart and was successful in all that she did. She was the mastermind behind opening the Lawrence Antique Mall before later selling the successful business. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to dabble in everything from appraising houses to owning and operating a pawn shop and travel agency. Also flipping homes with her husband.
She worked hard (and always FAST) unafraid of getting her hands dirty in order to accomplish a task. Pam was generous with her money and more importantly her time. She always hit the door running, ready to go out and experience life.
Pam loved to visit with family and friends, always ready with a fresh pot of coffee. She enjoyed going to the casino, reading books, watching TV, and traveling to the beach. She was an enthusiastic antiques collector and dealer. Pam loved running to garage sales to find treasures for her booth at the flea market, always in search of something someone needed. Above all, Pam loved her family and her dogs. She was entirely devoted to the ones that she loved, and unapologetically spoiled her daughter and grandchildren.
Pam is survived by her daughter, Nicki Reynolds (& Steve), grandchildren Kayla St.Cyr (& Deanna), Quinton Schneck, Savanna Martin (& Tony), Collie Grey, and great-grandsons- Kaison, Malaki, Mezrah, and a great-granddaughter on the way. She is also survived by her sisters, Debbie Kester, Evelyn Bourland, Karen Lasley. Also leaving behind her beloved dogs Bobbi, Ghost, and Frodo. Pam was preceded in death by her father Collie Arnold, mother Snowdean Arnold, husband Earl Murphy, and dogs Booger & Pyewacket.
To honor Pam's wishes, no public memorial service will be held. Instead, the family will have a private gathering, likely sharing stories that will prompt laughter and tears in equal measure. Pam's life is a precious collection of moments and memories. Her spirit will live on in those who loved her.
