Michael E. "Mike" Forsyth was born July 9, 1955 in Erie, Kansas, the middle of seven children to Charles and Anna M. Forsyth and passed away on April 9, 2023 at his home in Overland Park, Kansas. Mike was a 1978 graduate of the William Allen White School of Journalism at the University of Kansas and was always a proud Jayhawk. Mike's career was varied but specifically he was a true professional salesman whose skills led him all around the United States. His career concluded with several years selling real estate with Weichert Realty. He enjoyed reading, the arts, particularly music, movies, travel and good conversation particularly over a rum and Coke. He followed his Jayhawks, the Kansas City Chiefs and loved the Kansas City Royals. His warm heart, engaging wit and great laugh will be missed. This world is a better place because Mike was here.
