Marguerite (Marge) Ann Steinberger
September 15,1940 - March29,2025
Marguerite Ann Steinberger, affectionately known as "Ma Bergen," passed peacefully on March 29, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on September 15, 1940, in Kansas City, Mo., she brought warmth and kindness to everyone she encountered throughout her life.
Marge was a dedicated receptionist at Security Land Title, where her friendly demeanor and professionalism left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike. Also her passion and love for boarding horses. During her marriage to George she helped him with the Homestead Rodeo School at their home in Richmond,Ks. She was an avid animal lover, with a special fondness for horses, dogs, and cats. Her gentle spirit and compassionate heart touched both humans and animals. Many times she would say she would rather be with her animals than some humans. Lol Some of her favorite quotes were If my horse doesn't like you then I probably won't either and don't flatter yourself cowboy I was looking at your horse.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Steinberger; her father, Augustine Haidusek; her mother, Mary Haidusek; her brothers, Jack, Jimmy, and Richard Haidusek; her sister, Mary Kay Haidusek; and her son, James Patrick Bergen Sr. Her memories will be cherished by those she leaves behind: her sons, Richard Bergen and Michael Bergen, along with his wife Christine; her grandchildren, Amber Bergen, James Patrick Bergen Jr., Kelly Peel, Misty Waters and Brandy Waters. She had 13 Great- Grandchildren
