Marcia Ann Reeves, 71, of Mission, Kansas, passed away February 11, 2025. She is survived by her husband Glenn Reeves of Mission, KS, her son Wayne Quick and his wife Stacy Quick, and grandchildren Justin (wife Madi), Joseph, and Alyssa of Flowery Branch, Georgia, and her son Eric Reeves and his wife Megan Harris-Reeves and grandson Turner of Overland Park, Kansas. She is also survived by her siblings Bob, Steve, Steph and Denise and their families. She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter Michelle Quick, parents Harvey and Bertha Simpson, and her nephew Shawn Simpson.

Marcia was born on May 18th and grew up in the Kansas City area. She attended Center High School. She worked at the Folgers Coffee plant in Downtown Kansas City for over 25 years before retiring. She enjoyed collecting Folgers memorabilia and was a proud retiree of Procter & Gamble. You could describe Marcia in many forms, but a few stand out: Wife, Mom, Grammy, Sister, Aunt, and Friend. For those who knew her, you know Michelle was the light of Marcia's world. Michelle's care was a significant part of her life, but her love for all her children and grandchildren was truly her life's joy and passion. The family pets also had a special place in her heart and were spoiled rotten at Grammy's house. Marcia was an excellent cook and baker. You could usually find the family gathered every Sunday for one of her home-cooked meals. Memories from Sunday dinner will be cherished for years to come.

A Celebration of Life is to be held at Sylvester Powell Jr. Community Center in Mission, KS on May 4th, 2025 between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to be made in honor of Marcia Reeves & Michelle Quick to Friends of JCDS.
