Lynn Katherine Nehring, born on April 2, 1950, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024, in Kansas City, Kansas, at the age of 74. Her life was a tapestry of cherished moments spent with family and friends, and her warmth and kindness left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege to know her.

Lynn found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, including lively conversations with loved ones, the comforting familiarity of watching game shows, and the engaging drama of soap operas.

Her greatest joy, however, came from raising her beloved children. She embraced motherhood with passion and dedication, creating a nurturing home filled with love and laughter. Her legacy lives on through her family, who continue to carry her spirit with them.

Lynn is preceded in death by her husband Keith Nehring; son John Lee Nehring II; mother Verna Hutto; father Elmore Hutto; brothers Eugene, Ronald, Clarence "Jimmy," Dennis, and David Hutto; sisters Marianne (Hutto) Gosnell, and Susan (Hutto) Ressel. Their memories and influence were important parts of Lynn's life.

She is survived by her daughter Kristin and son-in-law Dustin Stephenson, her brothers Alan (Lori) Hutto and Jeff (Prudy) Hutto, and her sister Jeri Hutto. Lynn's love and wisdom also live on through her grandsons Cody (Jasmine), Jacob, and Noah Stephenson.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024, at The Piper Assisted Living and Memory Care in Kansas City, Kansas. This gathering will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together in remembrance and celebration of Lynn's life. Additionally, a celebration of life will take place in April 2025 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where Lynn's journey began.
