Linda Marie Puglisi Tuchband was born on March 7, 1949, in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She was adopted as an infant by her parents, Andre and Doris (Albino) Puglisi and raised in Manhasset, New York.

After graduating from St Mary's High School, Linda went on to Nassau Community College where she studied respiratory therapy. She worked at Long Island Jewish Hospital, where she met the love of her life Tom.

After Linda and Tom married in August 1973, they moved to Overland Park, Kansas, in 1974. Linda spent many years as a stay at home mom to their daughter Tara. She also participated in bowling leagues, played tennis, and loved to host a party. You never left her house hungry!

Linda is survived by her beloved husband Thomas, daughter Tara (Brian) Georgie of Leawood, grandchildren Jack, Samantha, Sydney, and Gus Georgie of Leawood, sister Andree (Puglisi) Schmidt of North Carolina, sister in law Linda (Tuchband) Pihir of Cincinnati, sister in law Sandra Tuchband of Leawood, and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will take place this spring in her honor.
