Linda M. Scott, of Overland Park, Kansas, was received into the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 26, 2026. She was born on July 26, 1943, in a small western Missouri town, where she grew up alongside her two sisters.
Linda met the love of her life, Robert Scott , in high school, and the two were married on November 16, 1963. Together, they built a home filled with faith, laughter, and steadfast devotion. Linda spent many years as a stay-at-home mother, pouring her heart into raising their family, before later earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas—an accomplishment she cherished.
She found joy in the simple and meaningful rhythms of life: reading her Bible, dreaming up home renovation projects, visiting the Oregon Coast, and spending time with the family she adored. Life took them from Kansas to Missouri and Oregon, and ultimately back to Kansas, where they made their home and enjoyed retirement in Overland Park. They attended Lenexa Baptist Church and appreciated the fellowship and teaching they found there.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, their two sons, six grandchildren, and one great-grandbaby who brought her immense delight. Her legacy of faith, warmth, and unwavering love lives on in each of them.
Her family celebrates the blessing of her life and takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace, held in the eternal embrace of her Savior.
