In memory of Kimberly (Kim) Sue Graves

04/17/1967 – 02/15/2025

Kim was born on 04/17/67 in Romeo, Michigan. The family later relocated to Topeka, Ks. where Kim attended various level of school. She graduated high school from Topeka West and went on to attain a BS degree in radiology oncology nursing.

Afterwards, Kim traveled the southwest and the west coast applying her professional knowledge, treating and caring for cancer patients. She eventually moved into an administrative executive position managing several oncology centers throughout that region.

In 2012, Kim returned to the Kansas City area to assist with her mothers' medical care. She became employed with North Kansas City Hospital and began her local career and again practiced her lifetime passion of helping and taking care of cancer patients. During this time, she became her mother's full-time caregiver until Betty's passing in 2022.

Kim continued to live her life head on and with passion until she, herself, was diagnosed with breast cancer several years ago. She went cancer free for five plus years.

Unfortunately, in 2023, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. On Saturday, February,15 th at 9:30am she lost her battle. At the time, she was surrounded by her closest family, and she passed away peacefully at home. That bright shining star was released into space free of any pain or suffering.

Kim leaves behind, her two fur babies, her brother Mark, his son Josh and wife, Lotus. Her older sister, Kris and her husband Ron and their children, Cameron, Ronni, Tyler and great-nephew Brady and Oakley. Many aunts, some uncles, cousins and many friends. Her passion was helping others. Being a fur baby mommy, being an aunt, loving and helping her coworkers and her many friends along her life journey. She will be incredibly missed but never forgotten. She will always live in our hearts!
