Jul 23, 1984 — Jun 19, 2024
It is with profound sadness and heartfelt gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Kelley E. Jackson, who left this world on June 19, 2024, at the age of 39. Born on July 23, 1984, in Salina, Kansas, Kelley brought light and love to everyone she met before passing away in Kansas City due to toxic shock syndrome.
Kelley was a beacon of inspiration and dedication. Her passion and commitment shone brightly throughout her career as the YMCA Summer Camp Director. She touched countless lives, nurturing the growth and development of children with her boundless energy and unfailing kindness.
An alumna of Emporia, where she earned her degree in Elementary Education, Kelley's love for teaching and guiding young minds was evident in every aspect of her professional journey. Her legacy is forever imprinted on those she mentored and inspired.
Preceding Kelley in death were both sets of her grandparents and three uncles, whose memories she cherished deeply. While they are no longer with us, their influence and love were felt throughout Kelley's life.
She leaves behind a family who will continue to celebrate her legacy: her devoted parents, her loving brother and sister, her caring sister-in-law, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored her. They will remember Kelley's unwavering spirit, her warm heart, and the profound impact she had on their lives.
A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Kelley's extraordinary journey and the indelible mark she left on the world. As we gather to remember her, we will find strength in her example and comfort in the beautiful memories she created.
Kelley E. Jackson's life was a testament to the power of compassion, dedication, and love. She will be greatly missed but forever remembered for the joy and inspiration she brought to all who knew her.
