Karen Rue Roberts, known affectionately as Karen, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2024, at the age of 72 in Edwardsville, KS. She was born on September 27, 1951, in Homestead, FL.

Karen dedicated her life to her passion for animals, working as a professional dog and cat groomer. She had a special talent for handling dogs in Agility and Breed classes, showcasing her expertise and love for furry companions. Additionally, Karen was a devoted fan of Chiefs football, finding joy in cheering on her favorite team.

Karen will be deeply missed by her surviving brother, William P. Rue. She is preceded in death by her father, Paul W. Rue, her mother, Regina M. Rue, and her sister, Patricia J. Rue.

Karen's kind spirit and love for animals touched the lives of many. Her profession of Faith in Jesus by Baptism and acknowledgment of His saving grace brings great comfort knowing we will someday be reunited in Heaven. May she rest in peace.
