Joseph A. Canseco Jr, 60 years of age, passed away on Sunday March 24 th , 2024 at Research Hospital.
Joe was born Sepetember 1 st , 1963 to Joseph Augustine Canseco Sr & Carolyn Louise Forrey. He was the oldest child of a large mixed family. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, stepmother Eileen Canseco, niece Nicholle Marie, brother Melvin Canseco, father-in-law Douglas Bradley & infant son Joseph Anthony.
He loved to cook and worked in many restaurants through his years including Chuns & Smittys Restaurants among many others. He was always ready and willing to thrown down on the grill whenever and wherever & was always ready for a ride on his motorcycle. For many many years he was an avid Dart player having been in many leagues and winning many awards.
In 1980 he met his ex-wife Donna whom he would loving call "Belle" for her love of reading books. And in October of 1981 they got married and had 4 children. In 2002 he met his ex-partner Christine Ream with whom he had 1 son.
Joe is survived by his ex-wife Donna Canseco (Raymore MO) & ex-partner Christine Ream (Olathe KS), brother Rhyan Shaffer (Butler MO), sisters Erin Canseco (Kansas City MO) & Cristina Canseco (Minnesota), brother-in-law Mark Bradley (Raymore MO) mother-in-law Nancy Bradley (Raymore MO), his 4 children – Brad Canseco (Grandview MO), Cody Canseco (Grandview MO), Crystal Canseco (Raymore MO) & Michael Canseco (Olathe KS), 4 grandchildren – Arianna BelloCanseco (Mission KS), Jonathan BelloCanseco (Raymore MO), Yovanni BelloCanseco (Raymore MO) & Preston Canseco (Grandview MO) and many nieces, nephews & friends, & his beloved dog OG.
