"Jo" Jewell Bux, 94, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018, at home. Jo Jewell was born on August 12, 1923 and raised in Bois D'Arc, Missouri. She was married to "her beloved" husband, Richard Bux for 62 years. She earned her nursing degree at "St Mary's Hospital" in the 1940's. She spread kindness and care for over 70+ years as a registered nurse. After working, she continued to volunteer at various hospitals in the Kansas City Area. She was a devoted member of Bethany Lutheran Church for many years Jo Jewell is survived by her three children, Priscilla Winders, Christopher Bux and Philip Bux, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
