Obituary

Glenn Nathan Nice was born and raised in Cortez, Colorado. He passed away in Kansas on August 19th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and cherished memories.

Glenn is survived by his beloved wife, Cindy (Searls) Nice; his sons and daughters-in-law, Stan and Tracy Nice, and Nate and Shelly Nice; his grandchildren, Alex, Elijah, Cora, and Ezra; and his sister and brother-in-law, Janet (Nice) and Richard Davis.

Glenn's life was marked by his unwavering commitment to his family, his community, and his church. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather. His family was his greatest joy.

After high school, Glenn attended Ambassador College in Pasadena, CA, where he earned his Bachelor's degree. He later completed a MBA at Cal State LA. Most of his career was spent working for non-profit organizations. Glenn was fulfilled by helping others, and showed kindness to all he met.

Throughout his life, Glenn enjoyed various interests and hobbies. He was known for his love of woodworking and created beautiful things. He also enjoyed longarm quilting and bowling. He cherished spending time with family and friends and loved traveling all over the country with his wife, Cindy.

Glenn had a strong faith, and relationship with God all his life. He worked as a Christian pastor for many years. He was grateful for the many blessings he received and often expressed his thankfulness for and trust in God's plan in his life.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Glenn's life and memory. The family would like to invite all that knew Glenn to share stories and celebrate the impact he made on their lives.

Glenn will be remembered with love and affection by all who knew him. His legacy of kindness, generosity, strong faith, and love will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have him in their lives.
