Gary Howard Freeman passed away on October 25, 2023. Gary was born in Kansas City, Kansas on August 27, 1949, to Leslie and Betty (Hartley) Freeman, both deceased.

Gary was a graduate of Wyandotte High School and a Naval Veteran of the Vietnam War. Gary worked in heavy equipment; operating it, maintaining it, and delivering it.

Gary is survived by his wife of 39 years, Angela Kay (Mayfield) Freeman, a son, Aaron Preston Freeman, four grandchildren; Preston, Erika, Kaylei, and Dakota, a sister, Judy Freeman, a brother, Dwain (Patti) Freeman, an uncle, Raymond (Evelyn) Hartley, father-in-law, Perry Mayfield (deceased), mother-in-law, Mary Mayfield, a sister-in-law, Melissa Ekeland and a brother-in-law, Brian Ekeland, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his oldest son Gary Howard Freeman, Jr.

Gary will always be remembered as a wonderful and loving; husband, father, grandfather, uncle andbrother.
