On January 23, 2019, Frank Ray Bartlett, Jr. , loving husband, father, and grandfather peacefully passed away at the age of 77. Frank was born on January 20, 1942 in Topeka, KS to Frank and Bessie (Burman) Bartlett. He completed his bachelor's degree from Washburn University in 1965 and was a proud member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He worked at the National Archives and Records Administration in Kansas City. Frank is survived by his wife Michele Lynn (Davis) Bartlett of 34 years, daughters Libby Bartlett and Maggie Bartlett and her husband William Kisamo, and grandchildren Andrey and Sia Kisamo. In his free time, he enjoyed watching baseball games, volunteer work with Prison Outreach of the Rime Buddhist Center, and reading about early American history. Frank also loved sports, especially baseball, where his favorite team was the Boston Red Sox. People will remember his unique sense of humor and love for his family and pets. Celebration of Life: A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 4:00 pm at the Rime Buddhist Center at 700 W. Pennway St. Kansas City, MO 64108.
