Faira Heggy Craft, 81, of Roeland Park, Kansas, passed away peacefully in her home on August 13th, 2023. She was born October 22nd, 1941 to Everette and Margie Heggy. Faira knew no strangers and welcomed all with a warm smile and kind heart. Everyone was drawn to her larger than life personality and her laugh that could thaw the coldest heart. On June 4th, 1960, she married Larry Craft in Nickerson, Kansas. They shared 53 years of marriage before Larry's passing on February 25th, 2013. Faira is survived by her sister Connie Huslig; children Terrie Gall, Todd Craft (Kathy), Carey Craft (Kristen); Grandchildren T. J. Craft, Jessica Mruskovich (Jake), Courtney Gall (JD), Joe Craft; three great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held September 9th, 2023 from 2:00 - 4:30 pm at the Lenexa Senior Center, 13425 Walnut St, Lenexa, Kansas 66215.
