Her career included Southwestern Bell, AT&T, and US Cellular. She spent many years living in Kansas until she moved to Japan for several years. She married the love of her life, Herb, in 1985. After retiring from AT&T in 2005, Herb and Evelyn moved to Camdenton to live on Lake of the Ozarks. They enjoyed fishing and the visits from family until they moved to Belton, MO. She was presently living in Bonner Springs, KS.
Evelyn was very passionate about thrift stores and Walmart shopping, always on the hunt for bargains. She spent many years gathering information for the family's ancestry. She also enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with family and meeting with her high school classmates. She was extremely loved by her family and anyone who met her. She could be very silly, which made her so much fun to be around. Her faith gave her encouragement, and knowing her faith is continuing her journey to Everlasting life will give the family comfort and peace in the days to come.
