Eugene Looker Galloup, Jr. was born August 28, 1924 in Cherokee, OK. A lifelong resident of Wichita, he served in WWII in the Army Air Corps and was an avid WSU fan, tennis player, and Trivial Pursuit whiz. He owned and operated retail liquor stores in Wichita for over 40 years. Gene was married and widowed from Wilda Lee Gardner and Theresa Englehart. He is survived by his wife, Maura Larkin O'Keefe Galloup to whom he was married 30 years; Joel Rae Galloup (son), wife, Leslie Wille-Galloup, and Evan & Tyler (grandsons) of El Paso, Tx; Bob & Sharon Galloup McGregor (sister); nieces & nephews: Judy McGregor & (in memoriam), Robert Scott McGregor & family; Patrick Eugene McGregor & family; Kristin McGregor Overman & family; and his stepchildren Tracey O'Keefe Hopper & family; Bridget O'Keefe; Larkin O'Keefe & family; Dan O'Keefe & family.
