Ernestina Uribe de Polo, hija de Teofilo y Elena Uribe nació el 16 de Mayo de 1926 en Apulo, Colombia. Fue la tercera de seis hijos. Su vida Cristiana era tan hermosa como las flores que tanto amaba, y su influencia permanecerá para siempre en la vida de todos los que la conocían. Ernestina profesó su fe Católica en Dios a través de su bautismo el 30 de Junio de 1927 en la Diócesis de Girardot en Tocaima, Colombia. Estaba casada con el fallecido Eugenio Maria Polo el 26 de Marzo de 1945. Era una madre dedicada y ama de casa. Su vida será siempre apreciada en el amor de sus hijos: Gloria, Alberto, Nora, Oscar, Sonia, Rodrigo, Gonzalo, Diego, Julieta, John, Marta, Victoria, Rafael, Patricia y el mayor de sus hijos, ya fallecido Jorge Polo; sus amados esposas y esposos; 52 nietos, 57 bisnietos; todas sus sobrinas, sobrinos, primos y amigos. Con sus hijos a la cabecera de su cama, Ernestina se fue pacíficamente de esta vida para morar con el Padre Celestial, el Domingo 6 de Agosto de 2017. Una ceremonia conmemorativa tendrá lugar el Sábado 12 de Agosto de 2017 a 12:00 p. m. en la Iglesia Católica St. John the Evangelist en 2910 Strong Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas. Todos seran bienvenidos a atender y celebrar la vida de Ernestina. Las flores son bienvenidas a llegar poco antes de la misa. Ernestina Uribe Polo, daughter of the late Teofilo and Elena Uribe was born on May 16, 1926 in Apulo, Colombia. She was the third of six children. Her Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers that she loved so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. Ernestina professed her Catholic faith to God through her baptism on June 30, 1927 in the Diocese of Girardot in Tocaima, Colombia. She was married to the late Eugenio Maria Polo on March 26, 1945. She was a dedicated mother and homemaker. Her life will forever be cherished in the love of her children: Gloria, Alberto, Nora, Oscar, Sonia, Rodrigo, Gonzalo, Diego, Julieta, John, Martha, Victoria, Rafael, Patricia and the late eldest Jorge Polo; their loving spouses; 52 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren; a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. With her children bedside, Ernestina peacefully departed this life to abide with the Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 6th, 2017. A memorial will take place on Saturday, August 12th, 2017 at 12:00 p. m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on 2910 Strong Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas.
