Elizabeth Jane Utter Phares, born September 4, 1921 in Westboro, Missouri, died peacefully on December 12, 2013 at the John Knox Village Care Facility in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Her husband of 65 years, William Forest Phares Jr. , preceded her in death earlier this year. She is survived by her two loving sons, Joseph Curtis Phares of Kansas City, Missouri, and Will Forest Phares of Phoenix, Arizona, who cherish her memory always. Cremation will be performed and the ashes interred at the National Cemetery in Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas.
