Ed Pogue, 90, formerly of Salina, Kansas, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Kaye Pogue; his daughters Dana Pogue, Erin Pogue, and Megan Johnson; his 8 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

His professional career included serving as the Regional Vice President of Kansas Power and Light, and the President and CEO of Planters Bank & Trust, Bank IV Salina, Boatman's Bank, and Nations Bank.

Ed served as a Board Member for Salina United Way, Salina Chamber of Commerce (President), Salina Regional Health Center (Chairman), Salina Airport Authority (Chairman), Salina Rotary Club (President, Paul Harris Fellow), Heart to Heart International, and Rolling Hills Wildlife Park.

Ed was a key fundraiser for improvements to the Salina community, including the funds to establish the first Salina Hospice Center, the teen center "The City," and Rolling Hills Wildlife Park.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Rolling Hills Zoo in Salina, Kansas.
