We celebrate the life and legacy of Earl Dean Cress, who peacefully passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on December 8, 1934, Earl lived a rich and vibrant life marked by dedication, kindness, and a deep love for his family.

Earl was a cherished husband to his beloved wife, Jo, for an incredible 72 years, sharing a lifetime of memories and an unbreakable bond. He was a loving father to Michael and Denise and Kim and Steve, guiding them with wisdom and compassion throughout his life.

A proud grandfather and great-grandfather, Earl's legacy include his grandchildren, Audrey and Samir, Sam and Jessica, Josh and McKenna, Jason and Cara, Robin and Mark, Amy and JD; and his great-grandchildren, Adra, Jack, Erik, Lydia, Lauren, Cole, Norah, and Emma. His joy was fullest when surrounded by his family, whose achievements and happiness were his greatest pride.

Earl served honorably in the Air Force, a period of his life that shaped much of his values and work ethic. Following his service, he joined the corporate world, where he spent 50 years with the same company, demonstrating commitment and integrity that earned him respect and success in his career.

Earl spent many joyful days on the family boat, the Mariner, sailing with friends and family. These moments on the water were among his most treasured memories, filled with laughter and tranquility.

Earl's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him, but his spirit will forever live on in the lives of his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him. A private memorial will be held by the family to celebrate his life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rachel's Challenge in Earl's memory.
