Donte Tyree Graumann-Brown was born in Rochester, Minnesota on December 12, 1996, the son of Christine (Graumann) Garner and Jeffrey Brown. He loved his family dearly and was known to get his loved ones together. At the time of his passing, Donte was in a management training program with McDonald's, and also was taking online college courses to become a Architect. Known for his soft-spoken kindness. He was involved with the First Baptist church's outreach ministry through helping with Kansas City Jazz Vespers and with the labyrinth walk. He also volunteered at the City Union Mission, an expression of his compassion for those who lived on the margins of society. He was a great chef, artist, and always had a great smile. He loved to freestyle, study theology and archeology, sketch, skateboard, walk Como Lake, fish, and play video games with his family. He played trumpet and loved to write music since an early age. He passed away peacefully on April 8, 2023 in his home. Celebration of Life service will be at First Baptist Church in Kansas City, MO on April 29, 2023 at 1:00 p. m. In Donte's Memory the family is asking you plant a tree, a rose bush, and take a walk by your favorite trail or lake.
