Donald Philip Kilgore,75,of Overland Park, Ks. died at his home September 4,2018. Donald was born on November7,1942 in Kansas City, Mo. to Earl and Laura Kilgore, the second of two children. He is survived by his wife Sharon Kilgore, son Randall Philip Kilgore, daughter Janna Lynn Kilgore, daughter Lisa Danielle Kilgore, all of Overland Park, Ks, granddaughter Dylan Kilgore, granddaughter Olivia Clauss both of Overland Park, Ks. Sister Barbara Gordon of Olathe, Ks. and son-in law Jason Clauss of Overland Park, Ks. Donald was a graduate of Grandview High School in 1961. He was a football, basketball, baseball and track athlete. Donald and Sharon Kilgore were married for 44 years. Donald loved sports, fishing, gardening, the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals and having an occasional Budweiser. Donald was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. Donald was loved by all and will be greatly missed by his family, and friends. The family extends a sincere thank you and deep gratitude for all the loving and skilled home health staff that he encountered in his last years of his life. We all love you my precious husband, father and grandfather. You will forever be in our prayers and thoughts. We will miss you.
