Donald Graham, 75, of Shawnee, Kansas, died October 21, 2010 at Shawnee Gardens Nursing Center under the care of Compassionate Care Hospice. Donald was born January 23, 1935 in Omaha, Nebraska to Admeral Ervan and Clara Graham. He was in the U. S. Navy in Long Beach, California during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged after two years of service. On April 26, 1969 he married Billie Nell Bates at Brides Wedding Chapel in Los Angeles, California. They were married 41 years. Donald leaves behind his wife Billie, one sister, Betty Liggins and her husband and two children, five brothers-in-law Prentis R. B. Bates, Albert H. Robinson, Jr. , Delbert R. Robinson, Dale M. Robertson and Gregory D. Robinson. He also had several sisters-in-law; Evelyn Bates, Nette Robinson, Lana L. Robinson and a host of great nieces and nephews and friends. Graveside services with military honors will be at 11 am, Friday, October 29, 2010 at the Leavenworth National Cemetery.
