Dennis Jack Brundige, a beloved father, brother, husband, and son, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024, at the age of 81. Born on December 7, 1942, in Wichita, Kansas, Dennis was the cherished son of Fred and Winifred Brundige and the brother of Byron Brundige.

Dennis's academic journey led him to Kansas State University, where he graduated in 1965. His pursuit of knowledge and passion for justice took him to Southern Methodist University Law School, from which he graduated in 1969.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dennis was known for his quick wit and cleverness, traits that endeared him to all who knew him, including the staff of Homestead Assisted Living. His love for music, particularly the songs of John Denver, was a constant in his life. He could often be found singing along, knowing every word, until the day he passed away.

Dennis was a loving father to his three children, Chace, Tyler, and Brooke. He was also stepfather to Lee Marcum and Jacque Brundige Turner (through his marriage to Mary Brundige). They remember their dad to be charming, funny and laid back, and always with a sarcastic remark and a smile.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 3, 2025, at Wichita United Church of Christ 5200 East 31st Street South Wichita, KS 67210. Barbecue lunch (Dennis's favorite) to follow.
