David Wayne Hutchison, born August 18, 1964, in Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2024, at the age of 60 in Grain Valley, Missouri.  He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.

David was an alumnus of St. Mary's High School in Independence, Missouri, graduating in 1981.  He pursued a career as a driver for Boise Office Supply and later worked in the parts department for the Kansas City ATA.  Through his work and personal life, David was known for his friendly nature and genuine love for connecting with others.

He found great joy in spending time at the lake, where he could relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature.  David also cherished conversations with people, always ready with a smile, a laugh, or a story to share.  His affection extended deeply to his "grand pup" Tucker, whom he loved to spoil with treats.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Marie Holmes, his father, John David Hutchison, and his dad John "Bernie" Holmes.  David leaves behind a family who adored him.  He is survived by his devoted wife, Lisa; his cherished daughter, Taylor: his brother, John Hutchison; his sisters Lisa Serrone (Pete); and Patricia Webb, nieces, Andrea and Danielle; nephews Mike, Dominick, Devon, and Noah; along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, who will remember him fondly.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time, allowing family and friends to gather and honor the man who brought so much light into their lives.  Big Dave will be missed and forever recalled by all lucky enough to have known him.  His legacy of kindness, laughter, loyalty, and love will live on in the hearts of all those who knew him.
