DALEEN RUSTMAN December 24, 1940 - August 23, 2012 Daleen loved her life as an elder adult social worker, musician and actress. Her bachelor's and master's degrees were from the College of Emporia, Washburn University and the University of Kansas. Daleen's expertise as a social worker, as well as her caring dedication to her clients won high regard from her colleagues. Her beautiful soprana voice was in demand as a soloist and choral singer in Kansas City and in her home town, Topeka. As an amateur actress, Daleen performed in many plays, musicals and operas. Three of her most successful roles were in Kurt Weill's "Threepenny Opera", Stephen Sondheim's "Follies" and Jean Paul Sartre's "No Exit". In recent years, she has been an enthusiastic member of the Senior Barn Players of Kansas City. Daleen's memorial service will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, September 1, 2012 at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, 700 E. 110th St. , Kansas City, MO 64131. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City will be appreciated.
